Can I publish a previous scholarship contest paper to Metavue Citation?
Yes, you may, under the following conditions. First, you must update your account and sign up as a publisher by agreeing to the Terms of Use. Second, while you can add your contest paper to Metavue Citation, it will not appear there until the scholarship contest has closed. Can I submit a paper that has been written with a second
author? Yes, you can. Just be sure to include both first and last names in the submission, and make a note in the "Notes/Comments" field on the entry form so there is no confusion. Do I give up right to my work by publishing it? No, all published work remains the property of the author. Under the Terms Of Use Agreement, you may update, replace, or remove your work at any time. Further, Metavue does not restrict your right to use the work in any other context. Will Metavue sell or reuse my published paper? No, we will not. All submitted work remains the exclusive property of the author. It is a standing policy of Metavue Corporation that no submitted work can be reused for any other purposes without the prior consent of the author. Please read the "Terms of Use" statement on the home page for more information about this topic. Do I get paid for publishing? As of September 1st 2007 Metavue will no longer compensate publishers to Metavue Citation. This policy change was made in response to the finding that while popular, visitors were unwilling to pay for subscriptions to access the collection. |
